We congratulate all of those 40 councillors on their election and thank those who on this occasion who were not elected for ensuring we have a democratic choice in who represents us.

The Chamber’s Local Government Manifesto is our suggestions on how to maintain the success of our county and build on it. We as the voice of business, see a growth strategy as a way of future-proofing employment and proving financial resources for the provision of local services. We recognise that local government in Ireland works in tandem with National Government and so we have also looked at the implementation of national plans locally.
 
Our ambition for South Dublin County is for it be a champion of sustainable and climate friendly businesses, businesses that are empowered and supported to embrace data management, artificial intelligence and cutting edge technologies. We believe it is vital to support and develop resilience into our local SMEs, these are the backbone of our economy many are very small and all are very important in providing local employment.
